Top 5 Word Puzzle Games Performance in Belgium, Q2 2025

In the second quarter of 2025, the word puzzle game category in Belgium experienced varied performance across the top five applications on the unified platform, according to Sensor Tower data.

Word Search Explorer® by PlaySimple Games Pte Ltd saw a consistent performance in revenue, peaking at $277 in mid-May, while weekly downloads started strong at 16K, then decreased to around 13K by the end of June. The app maintained a solid user base, with active users reaching 75K in mid-June.

Crossword Master - Word Puzzle from Easybrain Ltd experienced a steady decline in downloads, dropping from 10.9K at the start of April to 1.7K by the end of June. Revenue also saw a downward trend, starting at $167 and ending at $71. The active user count decreased from 38.9K to 16.2K over the quarter.

Puzzelfit België, a new entry from DPG Media, showed an initial surge in downloads, peaking at 24.7K in its second week. However, downloads dwindled to just over 500 by the end of June.

Crossword Jam: Fun Word Search, also by PlaySimple Games, showed an increase in revenue towards the end of the quarter, reaching $330. Downloads spiked mid-June at 10.6K before settling at 2.7K. Active users mirrored this trend, peaking at 11.2K in mid-June.

Finally, Connect Word Association Game by Hitapps Games LTD saw a late surge in downloads, rising from 745 to 5.7K. Although it had minimal revenue contribution, active users grew from 3.4K to 10.3K by late June.
